I have heard that there are people that start their Christmas shopping as early as August to catch up with price rises. Are you that type of person or you don't bother about planning for Christmas early and go with the flow?

Nope, not even ready for Halloween lol.

Yes, very much! We have has 100 degree weather for nearly a week now, and I'm already ready for Winter! Plus I'm highly heat intolerant!

Does it mean that you have started making purchases for Christmas too?

I do need an excuse to spend money. Might give more opportunities than not with what you can do or learn with new stuff.

Yes. I normally start my Christmas shopping in August and I'm usually finishing it up by Halloween.

But I do that because I work retail. I already work out in it and have the deal with the Christmas rush at work. Why do I want to get out in it again on my days off?

I'm highly cold intolerant lol Where do you live to have 100° weather?

As for Christmas, we don't celebrate holidays. When we did, we would look for gifts throughout the year. Always better than waiting until the last minute to do shopping. When it's all year long, you may find that perfect gift for your friend or loved one.

Tiger lives in Iowa (you'd know if you visited Nintendo 3DS Central.)

I try to plan for Christmas as soon as I can but I always feel as though it comes around way too fast each year and just as one Christmas is over, it feels like you have very little time after that before you are planning the next one.

I am at the moment asking my kids what they would like so that I can plan out a little better for their gifts and hoping to be able to buy certain food in that I know can be stored until Christmas.

I look forward to Christmas for other reasons than most people and that's because I'm a crafter. I usually start in the summertime and go through ideas and get supplies and then when the weather turns cooler, I have something to do. I like to make sure that every family member receives a craft as a gift from me each year. This year is more difficult because I can't find any decent ideas of things I know people would like.

It's one day at a time. I'm looking forward to Christmas but I'm not putting myself under any kind of pressure about it. I've purchased a few things but that's just it.

used to be the person to just go with the flow and get gifts at the last minute. However, I did my early shopping in September. I'm now done. Feels great! As for getting things myself... I guess I have become picky. haha

What I love about early shopping is not having to deal with the rush and increased prices of item at the last minute.
