Are you fine watching an anime that is generic but its story execution being good?

Something like Kyou Kare Ore wa where a normal protagonist wants to be a delinquent just like that.

It's a really good anime. So anyone know any such anime here?

I like a good plot with a storyline that continually holds me. Also one that isn't generic. It reminds me of Marvel movies. They are all the same thing. Superhero saves the world lol Gets tedious after awhile. Even though I don't like being surprised in real life, I like being on the edge of my seat when watching something.
