Yes, I might be more likely to buy a ticket on a plane, train, bus, etc if I were to bring a laptop, tablet, smartphone, or other device which can access the Wi-Fi on a plane, train, taxi, or bus.

I think it also depends on how long the ride would be, and how much the ticket cost.
 
I bet one day you can only buy these things digitally.
 
I don't have to buy a plane ticket. My husband and I have AA flight benefits. All we have to do is call my father up with our destination and we'll be in the system and booked in less than 2 hours.

Also, we have a car and so we rarely take the train, bus or taxi anymore.

But I would definitely go toward the free wifi even though I have a data plan.
