Yes, this is the main reason I joined SwagBucks, Mypoints, and other similar sites since they pay members points for doing web searches which you can redeem for PayPal cash, Amazon Gift Cards, etc.
I'm also a member of Squidoo.com and earned a few dollars via paypal from tutorials I wrote on the site, and it is a great place for posting links to my blogs, forums, etc.
Indeed, I think this is one of the reasons a lot of people choose blogspot.com over other blogging sites because Blogspot makes it easy for you to put adsense, and other types of ads on your blog while other free blog services makes money off of your post by displaying their ads, and you get nothing except for a free blog which you can get at blogspot.com as well.
