At Spike TV's 2010 Video Game Awards, a new trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum revealed the identity of a major villain appearing in the game. Professor Hugo Strange is after Batman and he knows the Dark Knight's secret.
As in the comic books, Strange knows the Batman is in fact Bruce Wayne. It also appears from the trailer that Strange is up to his old trick of using mystery chemicals to create himself an army of powerful soldiers.
While the trailer reveals almost nothing of the plot, if Arkham City takes a page from the comics, it's possible Strange will auction Batman's identity to the highest bidder. Could that be what gathers a group of Gotham's worst criminals for the follow-up to Batman: Arkham Asylum?
Developer Rocksteady claims that Arkham City is five times the size of Arkham Asylum. We expect it to then be five times as awesome.
