Capcom has teamed up with developers of the .hack// series, CyberConnect2, to create an all-new franchise for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 called Asura's Wrath.
First revealed at the Tokyo Game Show, Asura's Wrath is a third-person action game powered by Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3. The trailer shown for the game displayed two god figures fighting eachother. At one point a gigantic god-like figure in space is shown hovering above the Earth pushing his finger against it.
Hiroshi Matsuyama and Seiji Shimoda of CyberConnect2 said anger and aggression take center stage in this game. A release date was not announced
