I'm just going to jump right into Season 2.
E1: Holocron Heist
Pretty enjoyable, Cad Bane is just a better antagonist than any other antagonists. He actually felt like a threat instead of the Season 1 chumps who barely did anything intimidating. The animation also looks significantly better which is nice.
E2: Cargo of Doom
Slightly weaker than last episode, Cad Bane is still pretty good but I just think the heist was more fun.
E3: Children of the Force
Pretty solid, similar quality to the last two. It features Cad Bane the least which is a little disappointing but it's still not remotely bad.
E4: Senate Spy
Pretty enjoyable episode, Padme and Anakin are far more developed in this episode and Rush Clovis is a pretty good character. He's not deep but he's entertaining and sleazy enough to be charming.
E5: Landing at Point Rain
This is a guilt pleasure of mine. Yeah its nowhere near as emotional or deep as other episodes but I do enjoy this story of warfare.
E6: Weapons Factory
Another pretty good episode, it's mostly the same warfare of the last episode until the final act where it becomes a brief look at Anakin's and Ahsoka's relationship.
E7: Legacy of Terror
Another solid episode, it's not as character focused as the last one kinda was but this was still pretty entertaining.
E8: Brain Invaders
Still pretty solid, it's a bit weaker than the last few episodes only because I don't find brain invaders as interesting (granted they were in the last episode as well). I do think it's still pretty solid overall.
E9: Grievous Intrigue
Weaker than the last few episodes. It's not bad, just pretty mediocre. It's just too generic of an episode for my liking, I can't really say anything here was interesting or cool.
E10: The Deserter
An episode that explores the purpose of Clones in an interesting and enriching way. This episode is a must watch. I'm gonna be honest with you. This is Clone Wars at its best, which is a shame cause these episodes are so rare.
E11: Lightsaber Lost
Pretty good, it's some nice development for Ahsoka and features a wise jedi figure that doesn't die, that's a nice surprise.
E12: The Mandalore Plot
Another excellent episode. Mandalore is a great and interesting setting and Satine is a pretty good character. She and Obi-Wan have a fun dynamic which makes this episode better tenfold.
E13: Voyage of Temptation
Another great episode, Satine and Obi-Wan are just as great in this as the previous episode. The villain isn't all that memorable granted but it's still pretty fun to watch Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Satine.
E14: Duchess of Mandalore
Another great episode. What else can I say? Satine is just such a great character. The story is also just as interesting as the last two episodes. I guess I'm just a sucker for Mandalore stories.
E15: Senate Murders
It's pretty good, Lolo is a pretty weak villain but the rest of the episode is pretty good. It's not the most interesting murder mystery in the world but I still enjoyed it.
E16: Cat and Mouse
Ehh it's okay. Trench is pretty forgettable and I do wish we didn't go back to the Clone Wars Movie for a plot point that was never needed but it's fine for what it is.
E17: Bounty Hunters
It's okay, felt way too similar to whatever Season 1 episode also had the “villagers needing to be taught how to fight” plot but Hondo sells this episode for me.
E18: The Zillo Beast
Ah yes, the Godzillia episode. It's memorable just for that alone. The story outside of the monster is pretty mid though so I can't call this top tear.
E19: The Zillo Beast Strikes Back
This episode was insane, it's just Godzillia in Star Wars and it's just as epic as it sounds. This is honestly a must watch just for the sheer insanity alone.
E20: Death Trap
Boba Fett episode, nice. What else can I say? I enjoyed this episode and think it's a neat introduction to the Boba Fett character. I also enjoy the look at clone cadets and would have wanted to see more of them.
E21: R2 Come Home
Another good episode, it's more of Boba, Anakin, and Windu which is fine by me. I don't really think it's as interesting as the last episode, mostly because the clone cadets are gone.
E22: Lethal Trackdown
It's a Hondo episode, which automatically makes it great. It's also the final Boba Fett episode for…however long until the next Boba Fett episode. It's a pretty great episode, I wouldn't call it The best but it's certainly in the top ten.
Overall, Season 2 is pretty good. It's not as hard hitting as later seasons but most of these episodes are worth watching. I do think it's still a bit too episodic for my liking but I can't call any of this outright bad.
The animation is better of course, which does help make these episodes more watchable. Overall, I'd recommend starting The Clone Wars with this season.
