Yeah this film isn't good. From like three minutes in I could genuinely tell that the writers had given up. Which makes it so the story makes no sense and felt emotionless, but hey, the film was entertaining.
Hell, it felt like I watching Spaceballs 2. You had a randomly returning Palpatine, Hux is suddenly a spy, C3PO gets his memory removed only for it to be returned, Chewbacca has a fake death, and the final battle is just toys being thrown at each other.
What else do you want me to say? This film is just Spaceballs 2, glad to see Mel Gibson writing again.
