The moment it turns one from being reasonably sane, they are very much addicted in my book.I feel gaming is becoming someone's addiction when they are not bathing, eating regularly, sleeping not enough, going to work, school, or doing homework because they are addicted to gaming, and can't stop gaming.
I saw a report the other day about a guy who got sacked at work cos of playing game during work hours with his smartphone. Isn't he mad or something? When you stop doing other things just to game.

Yeah, the guy definitely had it coming. Maybe he was actually looking for a way to get sacked but why not turn in a resignation letter if that's the case?I mean if you're gaming instead of working, what else would happen?

Well, I did that a lot when I was still a kid but it's not something that I would do now.Especially when one can skip eating because of a game. It doesn't make any sense to me. Why would one want to go through such just for a game?

Maybe some video games with very attractive game characters can cause gamers with addictive personalities and low self-esteem to develop a game addiction and eating disorder which make them don't want to eat to lose weight to look more skinny like an attractive game character.
So, it is more of what happens in their mind? I wouldn't want to be in such condition as I enjoy eating as at when due.
As for eating disorder, I have been battling with that for more than 3 years now. I have already given up.I think video addiction and eating disorders happens in a person's mind which can become worse when a traumatic event happen like getting fired from work which may cause some people to more likely play video games for 10+ hours per day and skip meals as a distraction from their problems.
