At what point would you consider it an addiction?

Our definition of gaming addiction surely varies from one person to another. What Mr A sees as being addicted is not likely what Mr B see. Let's have what you would call it an addiction for you when it gets to that level.

I feel gaming is becoming someone's addiction when they are not bathing, eating regularly, sleeping not enough, going to work, school, or doing homework because they are addicted to gaming, and can't stop gaming.

The moment it turns one from being reasonably sane, they are very much addicted in my book.

When you stop doing other things just to game.

Especially when one can skip eating because of a game. It doesn't make any sense to me. Why would one want to go through such just for a game?

Well, I did that a lot when I was still a kid but it's not something that I would do now.

Maybe some video games with very attractive game characters can cause gamers with addictive personalities and low self-esteem to develop a game addiction and eating disorder which make them don't want to eat to lose weight to look more skinny like an attractive game character.

So, it is more of what happens in their mind? I wouldn't want to be in such condition as I enjoy eating as at when due.

I think video addiction and eating disorders happens in a person's mind which can become worse when a traumatic event happen like getting fired from work which may cause some people to more likely play video games for 10+ hours per day and skip meals as a distraction from their problems.

As for eating disorder, I have been battling with that for more than 3 years now. I have already given up.
