Atari Sold Its IPs

I just found out that last week Atari sold its IPs due to bankruptcy, with other ones still being on sale through bids.

Here is a list of who got what so far.

Nordic Games : Silver and Desperados
Wargaming World : Total Annihilation and Master of Orion
Stardock System : Star Control
Rebellion Interactive :BattleZone and Moonbase Commander
Epic Gear : Backyard Sport games (Baseball, Basketball, Football, etc.)
Tommo Interactive : Humogous, Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise and Math Gran Prix

Looks like thinks aren't going too well for game companies this month, although Nintendo's stock has been rising a lot.

Only because people are losing faith with Sony and MS. I'm sure Fall will change things around with release of PS4 and One.

I kinda lost hope in Nintendo with the region lock thing though.

Just means you need to buy a Japanese 3DS.

Atari was already riding the highway to hell. They sold all of their good games to "focus their business", which is a huge fad in tech and gaming that companies should really know isn't good for them because of the examples of non-adherents to the ideals of the focus believers, like Google, Microsoft, crApple, etc. having immense success.
