We like any news from Gamecock. Not only does the publisher have the most weirdest onslaught of upcoming games we've ever heard of (Hail to the Chimp, Mushroom Men, Etc.), it's also fun to say their name. Try it: "Gamecock, Gamecock, Gamecock." Fun, right?
Now Gamecock is teaming up with less-fun-to-say game company Atari to co-publish their upcoming shooter Legendary: The Box.
“Gamecock have already established themselves as a serious new force to be reckoned with in video games, and we’re proud and excited to be entering into this agreement with them to co-publish such an original and excellent quality product as Legendary: The Box,†said Mathias Hautefort, Executive Vice President of publishing and production, Atari.
Developed by Sparks Entertainment, Legendary: The Box is seriously going to rock worlds when it comes out at the beginning of 2008 for the 360, PS3 and PC. The plot, in which a thief steals Pandora's Box and unleashes a horde of mythical creatures on the unsuspecting modern world, is, in a word, rad. We await it with open arms.
