Attempted PlayStation Murder!

Today's humorous tale of videogame crime happened in Leonardtown Maryland, where a 17-year-old boy, is accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill his folks, partially because they took away his PlayStation.

According to cops, the kid offered the professional killer his dad's pickup truck in exchange for the double-homicide, but the hitman was actually an undercover police officer. Not to all would-be-hitman-employers: They are always really cops. You can't find a hitman in suburban Maryland.

The accused youth is being tried as a juvenile.

I'd say that's just a messed up situation over a PS3, this is among a few I've heard about that doesn't involve much in the way of game play, though.
