People think, or rather people who are paid to think what the future of gaming will be like, think downloading games is the future.

My problem is that most current day gamers, is my generation of gamers and most of us come from and booklet games which I like to think we enjoy having. There is also the problem once you buy the game, you really can't trade it in and gain money or trade value back.

I say it will always be a option, but will never replace hard copy games.

Your thoughts?

That's why download games are cheaper, because you always have them. I prefer hard copy, but sometimes they can be inconvenient too. You can lose them, break them, have them stolen, and they cost more. The biggest, and in my opinion really the only one that matters to me, downfall of downloadable games is the immense space it takes up, but that's why I buy the biggest hard drives for my consoles.

They can't be permanently deleted, they will always be in your purchase history, which can't be deleted. And what do you mean "taken off your console"?
