Do you go the easy route and bag up your gifts to give or the hard route and wrap them up in wrapping paper?

I use wrapping paper because it is cheaper than buying a more nicer looking paper or re-usable bag.
We've used both. Wrapping presents is fine but some things not in a box are known just by the look & feel. Gift bags can be great for the hard to wrap & odd items. Plus I liked it better because they themselves get a gift bag to reuse. We were careful to not use the card attached so that it could be reused. Instead we'd put our own card inside.

I might've wrapped some of mine years ago, but this last year they were a mix of wrapped and in bags. I was at work most of the time and my mom does the honors of wrapping and other Christmas activities sadly.

I mostly give out cash and gift cards, so I don't really bother with wrapping anything anymore.
I had toyed this past Christmas with using bags instead of wrapping paper for the gifts but I always like the surprise and the excitement when I kid my kid's gifts and because of that, I find I am happier using gift wrap instead of gift bags.

Always gift wrap with kids, adds to the excitement! And less chance of peeking.

True! Most adults will careless about the wraps with gifts as long as the gift bag they come with is presentable but I prefer having my gifts in wraps hence why I use all the time for gifting anyone.
