Banjo Kazooie/Tooie

I wasn't sure whether to put this in Nintendo or Xbox.

Has anyone played these games?  Which one do you prefer?  

I prefer Kazooie to Tooie, simple because Tooie's levels are confusing as hell.  They added mini games that are complicated and frustrating just to say they made a longer game.   Banjo Kazooie was just purely great game design.

Also, playing it on the N64

Are we just talking about the N64 games or that awful bolts game as well? If it's the first I will have to shoot you as I detest that this series both ended up on Xbox and became utter crap.

I played this series a lot and always enjoyed it.

I too prefer the original N64 version, but since unfortunately now they're xbox property, I had to put it in these forums.  

I'm in the middle of banjo tooie myself at the moment.  I'm having fun when I'm not confused.

I have only ever played Banjo Kazooie myself and I had a lot of fun doing so when I did play them. I found them to be really simple games which I enjoyed if I didn't want something too challenging to play. I have never tried Banjo Tooie so this is one I am going to have to try.

I really wish Rare was a independent studio releasing all their stuff across all the platforms. I want banjo on my PS3/Wii U dammit.

A lot of the developers from N64 Rare aren't at Rare anymore, so it wouldn't matter unfortunately

I haven't played Kazooie since N64 and I don't think I've ever played Tooie.  Great, now you're going to have me looking for another game for my Wii/Wii U.

pretty sure those aren't on Wii U VC thanks to Rare being owned by MS.

I played both but I remember finishing Kazooie but not finishing Tooie. I think it was a very long game. Both are extremely fun though, even today. I remember being super impressed of how they looked at the time.
