Looks like Nintendo just got a lot more hardcore. Following the announcement of the company's new console, the Wii U, Nintendo unveiled a number of hardcore third party titles that will be coming to the system.

Darksiders II, Tekken, Dirt, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Ghost Recon Online, Assassin's Creed, Metro: Last Light, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge are all in development for Wii U.

Many other developers, including Ken Levine from Irrational and Warren Spector from Junction Point, commented about how much they liked the Wii U, but no specific projects were confirmed.

Last Light is the only one there at I'm happy about, it'll be cheaper to get a Wii U then a pc that can run it at 30 fps if it's anything like 2033.

It's nice they're going for hardcore gamers this time around. But the problem here is when those games come out, they'll be at least a year old on the systems already out. People are going to move on fast.
