I played the first season of the Telltale Batman game a while back. Wanted to create a discussion on it. It was a decent game, but it took a rather different approach on the Batman backstory. Wanted to start a discussion here to see what other people thought of it.

I've seen a little bit of the game and it looks fun, but I can't support episodic gaming. I honestly think it's one of the worst concepts in gaming. Is it really so hard to release a full game?

That said, I might finish the playthrough I started watching. I got too busy to actually finish it.

I want to play this, but after finishing the action packed Arkham series I'm not sure if I can do a simple reaction press video game.

To release a large full game these days is way too expensive to make it really feasible. Though looking at this series, I see no reason why they can't do a full release, granted though we do get it sooner rather than later.

I guess for some companies who cant afford to release all at once it makes sense. But Telltale obviously have enough money to release it all at once. I would argue that it gives them time to polish the game, but they don't and it is usually full of technical issues too. I tend to just buy the games once the full season is out to counter this issue.

That's how it should be done, either way a person would wait that long anyways.
