This is what you got to love about E3 folks, the next Battlefield which is called Battlefield: Hardline beta is now live! Spots are limited but anyone can sign up.
This game looks amazing! I cannot wait for it's release. The idea of Cops and Robbers in a full scale war sounds so interesting. I have always loved the Battlefield series and this game should be no exception. Unfortunatly I did not get into the Beta, but hopefully I will be able to see some recorded content from it. This game looks great, and I will be listening for more information.
Yeah I'm on the Beta now. I've had about 5 hours of game time. The servers aren't really optimized at the moment (well duh, beta) but most of it is unplayable.
Still it's cool to check out a lot of the new things. The cars handle a lot better. And they added this new thing that is AMAZING for snipers. Grappling hooks. This is going to make it 100% easier for snipers to get on their spots instead of having to spend 5+ minutes getting to their one spot and then dying so quickly.
It's a game changer for the sniper class.
They only have 2 game modes atm, Blood Money and Heist. And 1 map, High Tension (Downtown). So I'm not really 'looking forward to it'. I'm just enjoying it for what it is, maybe once they release more maps and such I'll think about buying it.
Honestly this game looks like it might as well have been an expansion pack for BF4, similar to what they did to Bad Co. 2 Vietnam. Would have also preferred Bad Co. 3, but their presentation of this game was very good. I'll be happy to try out the beta.
