Other BBC Proms to host first video game themed concert

The BBC Proms classical music festival has announced the Gaming Prom segment, the first inclusion of video games music at the event.

The Proms concert will take place on August 1, 2022 at the Royal Albert Hall, and will feature music from multiple video games including Kingdom Hearts, Shadow of the Colossus, Dear Esther, and Battlefield 2042.

Composers confirmed to appear at the event include conductor Robert Ames, as well as Hildur Guðnadóttir, Sam Slater, Jessica Curry, Yoko Shimomura and Kow Otani.

I wish I can someday attend a video game concert like Gaming Prom. Kingdom Hearts has very nice music when I played it many years ago.

That's really cool actually. Interesting to see BF 2042 on that list, you would think they would go for a better title to advertise it lol

Concerts are always good but I feel this has a narrow audience.
