well things are a little dull and quite here, one reason for that is I have not been feeling well for the last week so I have not been able to keep things active here as best as I could. But now I am feeling better and I will try to get things going again.

So thats one half of this message and the other half is I am looking for ideas and suggestions on what to use to keep the site active and the members entertain. If you got any please share your thoughts here!
 
Well, you know i had my dilemna the past few weeks on my activity all across the net. but it's good to hear you're doing better.

i don't know what to suggests for increasing activity, cause i love it here, don't see how others couldn't get attached to the forum as well.

i'll brainstorm, but you know what you're doing already, to get the forum this far. maybe it's just a slow period.
 
Well I do have some good news: the GF link count is up to 400 (was 381) from the b1.jcink.com link, thanks to some of you for linking this site to your forum signature blocks on other forums. That count will rise as long as we are consistent in spreading the links around as you post elsewhere.

We had a new member joined yesterday, and a new one today, so that could be a good sign of a slight turnaround.
 
Good to hear that you're going better. GamingForce is doing good, as always. Just that there's more staff than users.

not all the time but a great deal of the time, and thats not always bad. also lol at your avy.

the next few days I will send out inactive emails and other things. so keep posting everyone!
 
Does jcink allow you to add your own domain name?

This question is a little off the topic but I just know that people find it easier to remember .com domains then the domains provided by the forum host.

Yeah, Jcink allows that, we've added a few short domain names already for others to easily remember and type in (see the domain links thread in this forum)
 
I think trying to find some anime themed boards which allow guest to post ads would be benefical

Does Jcink let you sound out mass e-mails about becoming more active?

Maybe some kind of big event should happen that would lure members back like a contest
 
Making a Youtube video about gaming might attract some visitors to the site by placing a link on the video page.
 
yeah, mass emails ONLY work if the member forgot how to find th forum. Plus, whatever you put in the email title, doesn't show up, cause your forum title shows up first. I tried it, and didn't work, cause you can't get their attention without a clever email title.

Video was pretty cool. But, are you sure you've got the right seacrh tags for the video. you want everything to do with gaming in your search tags.

i use youtube, too ... but actually getting members from there is a slim to none chance, but, i still try,you never know whn thet one new memb er will trun up.

DS, i know you'relike me with activity exchanges, try on at FP ... and say you ONLY want to other gaming forum admins to sign up, it's what i did. and alot responded well to it. you get gaming members, and gaming sites to post on to advertise

our email is different as we need to use Gmail or hotmail to send out any mass emails. So what ever the title is, that is what the members see.

Spirit is in charge of the videos, and I never posted a youtube vid so I can't say much.

getting our link out is the only important thing, since youtube is big might as well try.

I need to get back to FP, but I never did care for their look and using money for some reason.

if your doing any daily 3/3, 5/5, 10/10 with someone I'm not let me know about them.

yeah I think that ashley person took too much at one time and real life issues got in the way or something.
 
i've never used any services from FP, except forum review, and one post package during the anniversary. actually, i do use their banner and affiliate services too, lol. if you need cash, i got over 3,000 and never use them, i'll send ya a nice donation if ya need one? oh, and vote for FOTM while you're there
