Black Friday is fast approaching, unfortunately this year we haven't seen too many spectacular deals from the ads that have leaked out thus far, perhaps because retailers have already been implementing discounted pricing throughout 2009 to accommodate for the recession. Thankfully, info on what Best Buy will be offering on one of the best tech shopping days of the year show that there is still some hope for all us geeks out there.

As expected, televisions are the category that is seeing some of the biggest discounts, such as a Dynex 32" 720 LCD HDTV for $299.99 and a Dynex 40" 1080p LCD HDTV for just $499.99. If you want to go for more of a brand name, Samsung is offering a cheap 32" 720p LCD HDTV of their own for $397.99 and a larger 50" set with 1080p for $897.99.

A few excellent computer packages are also to be found, including a Compaq Netbook w/Intel Atom Processor for just $179.99, and a eMachines Desktop with AMD Athlon Processor, 3GB memory, 320GB hard drive and 18.5" monitor for $299.97. It looks like you won't get Mac deals as cheap as PCs, but there will be a 13.3" Macbook with 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB DDRS memory and a $250GB hard drive for $999.99.

Some other notable deals include a Insignia Blu-ray player for $99.99, Garmin Nuvi 205W GPS system for $99.99, and Left 4 Dead 2 for both PS3 and Xbox 360 for just $34.99. Many of these bargains have been labeled as "doorbuster" items, which means there will be a very limited inventory of those particular products when the doors open on Black Friday.
