I think iOS is generally best for gaming since iOS have Game Center, and more games, but Google Android is better for gaming on a budget since the Google Nexus 7 tablet is $199, and there are plenty of cheaper $99 tablets with the Mali-400 and better video chips which can play most Google Android Apps, and games at the same or lower video settings than the Nexus 7 tablet.
