Okay so what are the best PC RPGs you have ever played? I am looking to get new RPGs to play on my pc :) These could include really old 90s games or latest ones, ill start

Old Ones:
Quest for glory
King's quest
Indiana jones and the fate of atlantis
Final fantasy series

New Ones:
Witcher Series
Dragon's Age Series (except 2 i dont like 2)

Umm cant think of anymore at the moment as witcher and dragon's age keep me pretty busy right now :)

oh yeah, ive tried playing skyrim now atleast 2 times but i always get so much side tracked that in the end i am lost :/ lol anyways are there any mods that you would recommend for a better gameplay experience?

In my case, since I love dancing, the best PC RPG that I've played so far is Audition Dance Battle. In our country, the game is 10 years old, and sad to say, the players are declining and their attitude is also going downright. I'd say it's the best because it helps me type in the keyboard fast, and that I just like to see characters dance for it could help me in making new dance moves.

Classics: Neverwinter nights, Diablo II, Planescape Torment, Arcanum (this is something special, but I doubt many would like it today as the graphics are really old for today's standards), Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (different from Oblivion and Skyrim - you can end up fighting impossible to beat enemies at lvl1 if you stray too far, which is so cool XD)

New ones: Mass effect (all parts), Star Wars: KOTOR, Witcher, Oblivion and Skyrim

One of my favorites is Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. It's old and very buggy, but still overall a great game. It has an interesting and unusual story, surprisingly in depth character creations, lots of crafts and magics to choose from and good/evil story choices, all of which can have a great effect on how your game turns out (so, great replay value as well). Just remember to save often!

Such a long list.

From the old days - Might and Magic 4, Ultima 4, Bards Tale 1-3
Intermediate days - Neverwinter Nights, Ultima Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Baulder´s Gate
Recently - Skyrim

I was a sucker for those old school cRPGs where you controlled a party and they were all yours to control their progress.

Can't really name a single series so I'll just list off a few that I absolutely love. Gothic series was the first one that got me hooked on the genre, so Elders Scrolls series was like a natural transition. One game that I didn't really expect to like, but absolutely fell in love with was Mass Effect. I only recently played the the third game and despite the criticism, I loved it. Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate are also favorites of mine since they're based on D&D.

I am a huge fan of the witcher series. I was pretty late to the party, but picked up The Witcher and The Witcher 2 games around two years ago and I was so impressed with how refined they were. The games were just so polished and the in-game environments are really well-detailed. I loved picking up as many side quests as possible, which really stretches out the life of an already long and fun game. I still haven't picked up the Witcher 3, as I've been waiting for the Steam Summer Sale, which will hopefully be next week; waiting has been pretty difficult!

I really do want to try the newest Witcher game still, but as for ones I've played, Fallout 4 has to be the best. It was the one I put the most time into, and it just made me happy to play it. Granted, I haven't played that many RPGs, but Fallout has been so good. I played Fallout 3 on console, and Fallout 4 on PC. I really should have tried New Vegas, but I'll go with Fallout 4 as the best. I probably won't revisit it with the mods or DLC though, too much of a hassle to redownload.

I am more of an old school RPG-player but some of the best and most interesting games that I have played over the years are:
Swords and Serpents (Nintendo ES)
Ultima series (most versions)
Final Fantasy Series (I prefer Final Fantasy VII on the Sony Playstation the best, even with the 3 discs; Final Fantasy Tactics also)
The Bard's Tale
Wizardry series

Although this may not technically be a RPG, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time contained many of the elements of a RPG and was a tremendous game, certainly in my top 10 if not top 5
