Thinking about phones and laptops and how their UI work, they have pretty ergonomic and easy to use design but what's a UI/UX experience you had that made you think "why don't people do this more?" Me personally, the standard click and drag we see Today is what I would default to personally ( Hell, Samsung even has Samsung Dex which turns your phone to a desktop), but my personal preference is the Gamecube (super simple, yet could've lead some cool stuff if they kept @ it.)

What's your personal fave UI?

The one that hasn't taken us over yet lol.

Telephones and cell phones with real dial pad buttons has the best user interface because it is easy to dial a phone number with one finger.

After using multiple Linux desktop shells and MacOS more, it made me realize how annoying Windows can be when it comes to basic things like adjusting settings for things. Windows still has things split between settings and control panel, and still has UI elements that haven’t changed since the 9x days, so it looks mismatched.

It’s also silly when Windows has more than one place to adjust the settings for something, but certain features are only available in specific places.

Normies wont run into that, but in my line of work it gets silly after awhile.

How many firewalls does Windows 11 have? Having trouble running streaming software on my New 2DS ll?

I'm not familiar with running firewalls on Windows (well firewalls in general). I don't have anything special on my home network that's not default Windows settings, and my workcenter uses hardware firewalls.
Gonna check my router firewall then. Didn't try that yet.

I’ve personally never had to mess with that, though tbh the only software I’ve had to set firewall settings for were for torrent clients, but those just go “do you want to make a firewall exception for this software? Y/N???”

Most software deals with any firewall issues, except for an odd few.
