Better to sell stuff and work at many sites instead of just one website?

I think it is harder to get popular on one site like YouTube, Twitch, Amazon, eBay, Craigslists for most people who are starting out selling stuff on selling sites, or making video and audio content to upload to sites, so they can earn money from video, and people can find their short films, music videos, vlogs, and other content on many sites.

Plus, if you or your viewers live in a country like Russia, and China, the chances of sites being blocked in your country becomes higher, so it is better to use many sites to sell stuff, and upload your video and audio content for people to play.

The terms of service of websites sometimes change, so some users may need to use alternative sites like Craigslist, Dailymotion, Vimeo, and the Amazon App store for making money, and sharing their content.

Depends how popular you are, if you're unknown then you got to go to many places instead of one.

Some of the very popular online creators, and sellers now seem to be using many sites to sell and upload their files like eBooks, video, and Music files to. I think they probably want to make more money, or their fans complain that they want to buy their stuff on a different sites like Amazon and Google Play instead of being forced to use Apple iTunes and an iPhone/iPad if they want to buy their eBooks, Apps, mobile game, and other digital files. There are also some people who prefer a physical version of a book from Amazon or eBay instead of an eBook file of the book.

A lot of people are also using Android, so Apple iTunes files like eBooks, and Apps don't work in Android. The creator of the digital file will need to make an Android version of the eBook, or App, and upload it to Google Play or The Amazon Android App store to sell.

This is basically it. If you're a popular musician for example, people will most likely spend time coming to the platform that you are selling your material on and buy it. They won't care that much if you don't sell on every platform. On the other hand, if you are an upcoming musician then its better to put your songs on as many platforms as you can to get as much exposure as you can

I think as more people switch or use Google Android, and Windows tablets instead of iPads, music listeners may want their favorite musicians to sell their music on Google Play Music, Groove Music (formerly Xbox Music and Zune Music and also known as Microsoft Groove) and Amazon Music Store which all support Windows and Android devices. But, iTunes is not available on Android. Some users don't want to create an iTunes account to buy a few songs, and use a music file converter program, so the music files work on most MP3 players, Android, and Windows devices.

Some music with more money may buy the same version of the same song on multiple platforms, so they can support their favorite musicians more, and make their music available on both their iTunes, Amazon and Google Play music account. Plus, they also may buy the physical CD and vinyl record version of the music album if they are huge fans, and music collectors who like collecting physical music cds, and vinyl records for fun.

There are some more political users who may want to listen to a musicians song, but they also listen to Donald Trump who said" boycott Apple products" because Apple did not unlock a Terrorist's iPhone.

Selling songs on Google Play Music, Amazon, Spotify, and other services may keep listeners from buying your music while still boycotting Apple.

There are some people who boycott companies because of a poor experience they had with the company which maybe out of the control of the company because most companies have a few rude, and unhelpful workers which suddenly start being rude because of attitude or mental problems, so users boycott a whole company because of one bad experience.
