Hey, is that Big Bob-omb from Super Mario 64? And he even looks to be a boss or something, look at the health bar to the right! I have to wonder one thing though... what are the point totals for each player at the top of the screen for exactly?

A factory board (guess Big Bob-omb is a boss here) Got to love the different 'car' designs, and how scared Waluigi looks of the Bob-omb (he's almost like don't shoot!)

But yes, what do you think?
 
I dunno yoshi. It does look like it's gonna be a ton of fun. Hopefully it'll be as good as it has been on the n64.
 
Well it's starting to look better than Mario Party 8 and that's saying something. I'm skeptical about bosses though, but I'll get over it.
 
I think the cars and bosses will add a needed change to the series, it should be a nice refresher, on the other hand though, it might be too much change, guess we just gotta wait and see.

Most games in the series have bosses. It's not that much of a new thing.

Also, keep in mind a new team are making this game. Because it's ND Cube and not Hudson, we should see some new ideas and less gimmicks than the last few games. For example, note how many more Mario elements seem to be in this, it's far less boring and generic than the Gamecube and first Wii installment.

Nothing wrong with bosses. Presumably Sketch forgot how many games actually had them already and that they aren't much of a new addition.

And I'm not sure if I'd buy it. I'll probably wait for the reviews first, seeing as Mario Party has lost my interest more and more since the Nintendo 64 days.
 
Wow it's been a while since I played Mario Party so I guess I forgot about the boss battles. xD There's nothing wrong with them it's just didn't remember I guess. They're not the most memerable part of MP, imo.

True.. They're not the 'core element' of the series. I liked Mario Party DS, but the only good thing about the Mario Party 8 was the Shy-Guy Express Board.
 
Looks to be a pretty good game all around. I like this whole concept of "working together but playing solo" idea with the car. At least that's the vibe I'm getting from it. Imagine all the betrayal that will happen in this game and likely cause many a family dispute, hah.
 
The Board is called Bob-omb factory and Whomp (mid-boss) and Big Bob-omb are the bosses.
