This is my list
Sadness - wolf's rain
Joy - any good slice of life anime with toddlers
Excitement - action anime like Naruto, Bleach, One piece etc.,
What about you guys?
 
Sadness/depression - wolf's rain
Joy - any comedy anime
rush/excitement - SAO

I know there have been some that made me say holy shit, but can't remember them right now.

I agree with wolf's rain too.
It's too sad but I couldn't drop it >< I really don't want to watch such tragic anime.

oh yeah, I forgot, me and you still collect physical media (dvd, or blu-ray). I'll never know if streaming services will go away, its all digital. Good thing we have this as a back-up. haha
 
Sadness - Angel Beats when Yui moved on and at the end when Angel did, Fairy Tail when Makarov died, FMA Hughes' death :' ), and a lot more lol

Happiness - Natsume's book of friends. The character development was really good in this one. The later seasons had some especially wholesome moments with the Fujiwara family.

Excitement - DanMachi (Minotaur fight), SAO (Eugene fight)

and they did! Got the main and side series for a decent price.

Honestly the resale on the dvd/blu-rays is pretty good. I nearly got back all the money from last years sales and I have yet to watch everything. Meaning I'm a head if you factor in the steaming services I would have paid and since there was a stretch of week that I was without internet, yeah I'm winning right now.

Also the discs do come with nice extras.

same here, but I get very picky of what series to get. I tend to visit 'anime news network' and read reviews, what the story is about, all that. Still awesome man, that you collect physical media. I might have to get back into it again. I've been too involved with 'Crunchyroll' lately. haha
