The return to Rapture is off to a good start for Take-Two Interactive's bottom line. BioShock 2 has shipped more than 3 million copies, according to Take Two-'s first quarter fiscal 2010 results.
It's worth noting that's that 3 million figure is shipped, not sold. We'll have a better idea of where BioShock 2 is at after the NPD Group numbers are released later this month, but shipping 3 million is a good indication that consumers are quickly latching onto BioShock 2.
By comparison, Bioshock sold more than 4 million copies. Again, sold, not shipped.
Still, it's good news for Take-Two, who has publicly expressed interest in more BioShock games.
