Although it hasn't released any details on the project, we know BioWare is busy cooking up a massively-multiplayer online game in its Austin studio. It is apparently the developer's biggest project ever, and the company needs to immediately fill some writing positions. In an unusual move, BioWare is reaching out to its fans, through Penny Arcade, for help.
Daniel Erickson, principle writer at BioWare Austin, issued a letter saying he needs writers who "understand the complexities of interactive fiction." Many professional writers (screenwriters, for instance) haven't played role-playing games and aren't able to write non-linear stories with "Player agency" and interesting decisions, Erickson says.
