So who is braving the madness today?
 
I work in retail so I had to spend nearly 12 hours working out in it. If I wasn't working in it, I wouldn't get out in it at all and just stay home.

Oh my! We were suppose to open the store at 6. They started letting people in 15-20 minutes early. I had lines coming out of my ears for pretty much the whole time I was there. I got one bathroom break at 11 and another bathroom break at 2. Those where the only breaks I had all day and that was because I had to go to the bathroom....there's no getting around that.
 
Deals seemed rubbish this year here in the UK. I was looking at getting a few bits. I realise Apple almost never puts its new stuff on sales though, but I was hoping for some deals around for other stuff.
 
I didn't go into any of the stores, but I did buy a few things online. Picked up a pair of 64GB micro sd cards for $22 a piece. (They're normally like $70.) I considered buying a 128gb card for $30... but limited funds and I'd rather have my phone get a new sd and my Switch get one rather than just one device getting one.

I also bought a new tactical flashlight for work. A Klarus XT12S (normally like ~$150 before tax, but I got it for 115 taxes in with free shipping.)

I'd tried a cheaper light from SecurityIng but it did not stand up well. Batteries died stupidly fast (like maybe 2-3 days before they were dead and I barely even used the light), the push button was finnicky (sometimes clicking it wouldn't turn the light on). The finish wore off the edges of the light extremely quickly (which looks kinda cool, but isn't overly reassuring that it'll stand up to use).

Sounds good and dammit! You just reminded me I need to pick up a bigger sd card for my Switch.
