Issuing a statement, EA announced that a single-player third-person Black Panther game is on the way, one that is taken up by its recently established Seattle-based studio, Cliffhanger Games. Additionally, the project will be headed by Kevin Stephens, former studio head at Monolith Productions, confirming previous speculation that an open-world Black Panther game was in development by EA. Stephens mentions that the studio is "dedicated to delivering fans a definitive and authentic Black Panther experience" and that the idea is to give players "more agency and control over their narrative than they have ever experienced in a story-driven video game." Unfortunately, details on when the game will likely debut or what platforms it will show up on are yet to be shared by EA.
