BlackBerry just released their latest Android phone, the DTEK50, and they’re calling it the most secure phone in the world. Can the DTEK50 save BlackBerry?

The Blackberry DTEK50 looks like a nice Android smartphone who care about their privacy and security. But, still want to use Google Android with a lot of games, apps, and services available for Android.

Good to know, but at the same time it eggs on the hackers to crack it.

16 GB of storage is way to low in comparison to the competition. I don't particularly care about this cellphone, to be honest.

According to Blackberry's website at http://ca.blackberry.com/smartphones/dtek50-by-blackberry/specifications.html the DTEK50 has an Expandable MicroSD memory card slot which supports a MicroSD card which is up to 2TB in size.

The $299 DTEK50 is cheaper than the $399 16GB iPhone SE with no expandable storage, and a 4 inch screen.

I agree 16GB is low, but I think most buyers rather pay a lower price like $299 for a smartphone than pay more for 32GB or more storage. People who need more space will install a 2TB or smaller sized MicroSD card on the DTEK50's MicroSD card slot for more storage. Android 6.0 supports Apps to SD, so users can install apps to the SD card as well as internal memory.

16GB of space is enough space for most business users who will be the main buyers of the DTEK50. Most business users will use this phone mainly for e-mail, reading and editing work files, and social networking. Most of my Android devices only have 16GB of space which is enough space for me to install a few mobile games, store a few short regular quality video files, and music files.
