After at least nine entries on the PlayStation Portable (this is just a rough estimate), Sony is at long last ready to move the Bleach franchise into HD on the PlayStation 3. The company took the veil off Bleach Soul Ignition today, sharing first screens and detail.
We kept "detail" singular for a reason. Outside of revealing the game to be an action game, which can mean pretty much anything, Sony did not share any actual info about the game.
So, we're going to have to turn to the screens to guess what the game is about. The screens show Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki and Uryu Ishida in what appears to be some sort of combat-based game. Be sure and scrutinize the screens in our media gallery for yourself.
Soul Ignition is due for Japanese release in 2011. There have been some Bleach games released outside of Japan, but never from Sony. With an HD console release, we'll hope for a change in this policy, at the very least from a third party.

I hope it makes it state side.
