Boiling Advisory

Have you ever been under a boiling advisory? It's where tap water is no longer safe and you need to use bottle or boiled water for a time until the tap water is safe.

I think I had a boiling water advisory a few years ago when there was a flood near where I live.

Nope. We get well water since I am not in any main town or city.

I've never been under a boiling advisory. I've seen other town nearby that have been under a boiling advisory for a time......normally they were announcing it on the news.

Same with us. We have well water & not hooked up to a city or suburbs. We are also fortunate to not live in a floodplain.

So our boil alert ended up not being needed, oh well, better safe than sorry.
