It looks interesting, but I never played the first game or the other second game so I don't really plan on playing it. Maybe some day if I find the first game and second game super cheap and if I like them, then maybe I'll play it.

ehhhh, first one may be a hit or miss. You don't need to play it to enjoy this one outside of some references.

Finished the game tonight and.....
Shit, the game is utter shit, well not completely but man did SE phone in this game. This game runs horribly on the switch (unrendered characters, fuzzy appearances, lag and stutter), I mean FF 7 on PS1 plays better than this game, if you must play this at least pick up the PC version, it runs a lot better.
Not to mention this game is grind heavy horrible with bosses that will still wipe the floor with you even over leveled. Plus, the overall world is rather small, and the dungeons are oversized and needlessly long.
Yeah, Bravely Default is a good series in theory, but I don't want a third one.
