So, currently, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has a Open Beta going on as I type this. CarlosX360 has begun playing the game...

What do you think of the game so far?
 
Looks like a CoD game.
 
Honestly, I wasn't too hyped for BO7, until I played the beta. I was super excited for BO6 last year cuz of the return of classic prestige mode, but heavy SBMM killed the experience and fun of the game real quick for me. I didn't even finish out the year with it. I wasn't gonna bother with BO7 simply because I felt it'd be more of the same, but then Activision did somethign that surprised everyone during the beta, they removed SBMM and said it wouldn't be back. The game felt and played COMPLETELY different from that moment on.

Now i'm definitely going to be checking it out when it drops on November 14th. I have Game Pass Ultimate until next year sometime so I'll be able to enjoy the mass majority of BO7's life cycle for nothing.
 
Hopefully a good discount comes around November - December when they close rank play in BO6
 
I remember playing the first one when it came out.

I really like it a lot. There was another game like this one - Rainbow something? It was a fun game, as well.

Black Ops 7 as a game is good, but SBMM really does hamper the experience. During beta, I was having fun for a while until the SBMM was turned up a bit. They do it it incrementally, and then when more players move in, the SBMM start to go berserk.

I can't even do previews (or reviews) of the game without even mentioning SBMM, it's really that bad.

If you're having fun, enjoy it while it lasts, because that rug WILL be pulled from your feet.

I wish they'd turn OFF parties for Rank Play.

Oh i'm 100% aware of this lol. Which is why I used my rewards points to grab the vault edition upgrade. It didn't cost me any actual money.

I think if they did the rug pull and it was proven there would be severe backlash cuz of how they handled it claiming there would be the open playlist, and in turn I think it would drastically hurt the sales of CoD going forward, especially if other competitors keep dropping around the same time (BF6, GTA 6, etc)
