Can charging your phone with a car phone charger break your car's electrical system and phone?

I think it can be possible that some low quality car phone charger for smartphones may break your car's electrical system and your phone. Some smartphones and car charger may use a lot of electricity to charge your phone, and overload your car charger which may cause problems with your electrical system.

I don't think it can affect the car electrical, high probability on affecting the phone's charger.

Well, to be honest I don't want to use it at all.

I would rather use a power bank....but I don't think a phone charger would break the electrical system of a car. I also believe....It all depends on the quality of the charger too...

I read news stories of some broken home chargers for phones exploding and catching fire, so some poor quality phone car charger may also catch on fire and explode if the quality is not good for your car. Poor quality chargers may also damage the fuse because of a power surge if your car and your phone car charger is poorly made.
