I have heard some people say that they don't allow having sex in their relationship and their partners agree to such arrangement. I'm not sure if it's possible for me to accept and work with because as long as we define it as not being a casual friendship, having sex is definitely on the cards.

There's nothing like sex in casual friendship. Some people still accept such arrangement in their relationship, I see nothing wrong with it as long both parties doesn't want sex. It's their life and personal business.
