Universal Pictures has hired the screenwriters of Kung Fu Panda to help them bring the Hasbro board game classic Candyland to the big screen.
The Hollywood Reporter says Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger will script Candyland for director Kevin Lima.
"The studio is envisioning a live-action epic adventure," according to the trade.
Hmmm, so sort of a Return of the King Kandy?
