Cannons are actual levels now?

If you look at the cannon, it's the same one in the newest trailer that sends Mario into a strange level.
My guess is that if you beat those levels, you skip worlds.
So if you count that one, World 1 has 9 levels! I think that's the most world 1 has ever had

Is this in U or 2? I'm just gonna assume it's 2. Good, the game needs more levels. The more levels there, are the harder it is.

Nah, not all the time.. I like to spoil everything to myself because I hate suprises. Sometimes I forget stuff and get a bit worried because some random giant fish decides to eat me..
