Hey guy's, I can't decide if I want to get a new portable system, and if I do, IDK if I want a 3DS or a PS Vita. I've played the 3DS a lot already but I just wanted to know what you all think. I'll take your opinions to heart. Thanks!
Vita is doomed since it came out, look at the japan sales, the system is going the way the N64 did, with little support and mostly the first party will keep it alive.
Agreed the PS Vita has a nicer screen and better screen however it is selling really bad because of the prize of the system, the memory cards and lack of games. The 3ds is more established and is unique since its the ONLY glasses free 3d device.
This is really being asked on a site about the 3DS? Hell, considering how the 3DS is doing so far, again even thinking of getting a Vita INSTEAD of one is outright crazy.
Buy the 3DS, it'll have the better games (and more of them), sell better and generally be better.
The 3DS is better established and has the better library at this stage. The library still isn't everywhere I want it to be, but things are looking a lot better than they were last year.
Vita has technical superiority, and looks to have some decent launch titles, but it hasn't really found its feet yet. I think in time it'll get some solid games, but I can't see it becoming as widely adopted as the 3DS. I hope it finds its niche though.
I happen to think the 3D really does add a lot to the 3DS gaming experience, and that does a lot to offset the graphical superiority offered by the Vita.
yeah, i've seen some better titles on the 3ds than the Vita. Plus I had a lot of fun when i used one of them so I'm definately going for the 3ds. Thanks everyone.
If you want cool apps for talking to people and media in general, get a VITA. If you want games, get a 3DS. Both systems cannot have those 2 features sadly, so right now its one or the other.
