According to this, Capcom only has $152 million in the bank, which is apparently not that much for a company of their size. And Nintendo apparently made more than this in a few months alone.

So people are thinking that Capcom could theoretically go under if they don't make more cash, and are talking about how much they supposedly 'deserve' it for screwing over Mega Man.

But what do you think? Is this potentially the end for Capcom? Could the company go out of business in a generation or two? And if so, what you want to happen to their IPs?

Well,if they were to go away, then there franchises and characters would probably go join Sony or Nintendo, along with most of their workers.

OR Plot Twist:Mega Man now a Nintendo character and Capcom gone forever. O_O

I find it hard to care what happens to them as they had many chances to avoid this issue. I say if they don't pull together, good riddance.

Sort of like Spyro after Insomniac left.

Aren't they doing Might No. 9? I mean that looks cool. I'm sure that game will save them. It's like new aged Megaman.

No, Keiji Inafune who had left Capcom a while ago is making Mighty No. 9. His company's group is called "Comcept".

Oh. Well then Capcom is totally screwed. Unless they make a new MM game that is, but without Keiji, they're too scared to do anything I guess. Idk. Unless Smash Bros. 4 makes so much money and Capcom gets enough from the profits of Megaman, then maybe, but that's more or less impossible.

Doubt Smash Bros will do much. It's a Nintendo game, the only thing Capcom gets money for is Mega Man's appearance (maybe) and it's not even gonna be out til next year.

I know. That's why I said it's more or less impossible.

What Capcom needs to do is make a new game. It doesn't even have to be a new game. They could hash together a new Ghosts and Goblins game. People would eat that up.

Their problem is that they like to add "Super" or "ultra" to their games and call them new...did you know there is an Ultra Street Fighter 4 in the works? There's already 3 other Street Fighter 4 games. They need to stop with Street Fighter and focus on other games.

Yeah I realized that with Marvel vs. Capcom. My friend bought the game sometime when it came out and a few months later they made Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom.

The Virtual Console screen on the 3DS eshop makes me sad (just look at it).

I have a feeling that Mega Man is being appreciated by Nintendo fans more then the actual Capcom fans.
