To promote their Dead Rising 3, that has been announced to be an Xbox One exclusive, Capcom seems to have decided to innovate.
Indeed, rather that setting up a traditional E3 booth, they garnered the attention of the interested audiences through a quarantined space that was full of zombies, some screeshing, others grunting while a few were taking a bite at severed limbs.
That is pretty cool. I like Capcoms ability to connect with its consumers and have a little fun. In my opinion this shows alot about a company and projects the idea that Capcom is more consumer driven than profit driven. Overall that idea for their E3 booth is brilliant and would surely have attracted visitors. Bravo to Capcom for making a unique and creative booth.
I can definitely recall a time when Capcom put its all into making fans feel engaged, and this is like a call back to that. Maybe Dead Rising 3 will make up for the train wreck that is RE 6, but if not, at least they promoted it in a creative way.
Haha. Well at least they're trying something different. That video is really cool, let's hope that Dead Rising 3 is as awesome as their little presentation at E3.
