Yep, Toad has his own game folks and it's called Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

I enjoyed the mini-games from 3D World so the additions that they added should be fun

Well if Luigi can get his own game, why not toad? I think even Peach has her own games on the DS. The crazy thing is, this formula of game looks awesome.
It reminds of me of Super Mario RPG when in the ghost ship and you have to jump into a massive block structure in which you can't see Mario.
If you figure it out though you get something awesome.

I like to see them add bowser as the main villain, it be a new low for him to lose to a toad.

The fact that Toad is getting a game on his own is enough to pique my interest.  We'll see how it plays out, I'm sure it'll be decent.
