No, but I read the book (my favourite by Stephen King). And I'm excited to see the differences between the movie and the book. I'm guessing there's going to be some differences when a book is adapted into a movie, no?

I have seen it advertised and seen a few people talk about it however I have not yet seen it myself. I always find that books that are adapted into movies usually are better so I am looking forward to seeing this.

oooh, I'd try to keep an eye for it then.

I remember the (80's?) old adaptation from when I was a young kid. But more so from my mother talking to me about the movie than the movie itself. I read the book a few years ago, and it must be weird to watch the movie after the book because the book has an atypical format between an external and internal narrators. Each chapter changes a bit the pace.

I am planning on seeing this movie soon but i will tell you that you can never beat the original movie although i do hope this remake is not a disappointment
