OMG! What a great first topic to read during my recent absense! I have been waiting for this game since it was first announced back in October 2008, almost 16 months ago. I never even played or heard of the original; but when I read comparisons so Super Metroid and Castlevania SOTM; I was very intrigued.

So far it's pretty cool. Free roaming exploring, with some really fun arcade style shooting fun.

I just hope it's not as short as I have been hearing.
