Although this year's CES was one of the least remarkable of the last three years, it was the highest attended; preliminary attendance statistics today indicate that more than 140,000 people visited the show from January 5 to January 9.
Compared to 2009 and 2010, which drew 112,085 and 120,000 visitors, respectively, this year's show marked a remarkable increase in attendance.
In addition to releasing the attendance statistics, the event's organizers have also announced the dates for next year's show, which will take place January 10 through January 13. The new dates also mark a notable shift from the event's typical Wednesday through Sunday schedule to a Tuesday through Friday schedule.
