I was on Amazon one day looking for an mp3 player, when I stumbled upon this interesting looking gadget. Its called a Zopid HE-ZMP6 Media Player. It has multiple features such as:

mp3 player
NES, GB, GBC, GBA, SMD emulator
movie player
ebook reader
jpg picture reader
micro sd reader
built in camera and video recorder
built in microphone and sound recorder
av input (to use it as a tv)
built in dvr (records av input signals)
av output (your tv becomes the handheld's screen)

I was amazed by this gadget. Especialy the built in emulator, camera, and dvr capabilities. The price was $50. I thought, "What a bargan! All these features for 50 bucks!" I later found there was a reason why it was priced that low.

I ordered it. And when it came, I was both disapointed and happy. The first thing I noticed was it only had one speaker. In the picture it looked like it had two, but it really has a fake speaker on one side and a real one on the other. The emulating feature was...acceptable. It played NES, GB, AND GBC games perfectly but it couldn't play GBA games at full speed. It would often freeze, and I would have to reset it. I could only find one Sega Genesis game that worked for it. The buttons on the Zopid REALLY REALLY SUCKED! There was no d-pad. It was just 4 separated buttons that acted like one. They gave you 5 more buttons. They were enough to pay NES, GB, and GBC games, but you couldn't use the L or R buttons when you played GBA games.

After about 2 months the cheap AUX jacks broke, and I had to listen to music with my mono speaker. I could no longer play it on the TV or use it as a DVR. A week later the crappy device would randomly shut off. I tried resetting it, and charging it, but the device kept on shutting off. One day it wouldn't even turn on. I tried resetting it, and charging it, but it still wouldn't turn on. I plugged it into my computer and my computer did not recognize it.

I complained to the manufacturer and got a replacement that only worked for a month. The new device had a very weak battery life, and I had to charge it in the wall. One day the Zopid wouldn't stay on for more than two seconds. I tried charging it but it wouldn't charge at all. I complained to the manufacturer and they said that they couldn't refund or replace it again because of some 3rd party company and stuff.

I later found that many people sent it back for refunds, because of issues they had with it. What really sucks is some people payed $100 for it before it went on sale. :[

Below is a review some one made.

If it's one thing I learned, MP3 players are cheap. Though the Zen series seems to have some quality in it. I can tell you right now having everything mentioned stuffed into one MP3 player is going to give you trouble. As you and others have learned.
