Read from gamesindustry biz:
The rule was made by the National Radio and Television Administration, which said that all platforms must have approval by related authorities to stream titles.
This also extends towards the broadcasting of overseas games and competitions, the regulator said.
By extension, the ban on unapproved games for livestreaming follows an ongoing series of crackdowns on video games.

This is unfortunate that Chinese people in China can no longer freely share unapproved games in China by live streaming them.

Feel bad for the streamers who just want to stream.

Although this is very heartbreaking for people in China none the less this could probably be a good thing

I don't think stealing everyone's freedom is a good thing at all...

I'm curious as to how it could be a good thing?
Everyone should be able to stream any game they want, it's stupid that you need government approval to stream a particular game

To be fair I bet they give away games like candy to anyone who would want to game knowing their take on IPs and property rights.
