Chrono Cross vs Chrono Trigger

These two RPGs are awesome. I've played Trigger on the SNES and Cross on the PS1. Which was better? I dunno. But I definitely liked Chrono Cross a lot more.

Maybe it's the upgraded graphics that won me over... Or maybe the intricate story line. Or the brilliant musical score when exploring towns and villages... Or the interesting characters... It was such an experience.

Have you played both games? Which do you prefer?

For me Chrono Trigger gets the top spot. I'm not saying that Chrono Cross is a bad game, it's awesome (to this day I still remember the intro sequence as one of the best I've ever seen), but I liked the characters, music and environments of Trigger better. Even know I have the C Trigger OST on my phone as ringtones or waking alarm.

And now that I'm here talking about them I feel like getting my SNES and PS1 out and playing them once again, for a more relaxing summer ^_^

I think these two games made a lot of noise back in the day. They had a huge fan base and they were a hit both with the critics and with the sales. Maybe it's about time that Square made a remake, or better yet, a sequel for these two games don't you think?

I'm sure fans will flock the store shelves once these games are released.
